A gentle, mobility-supportive chair yoga program designed to improve strength, balance, and confidence for older adults.

ChairFlow for Healthy Aging is a chair-based yoga and movement program designed specifically for older adults. Each 45–60 minute class uses gentle, yoga-inspired movement to support mobility, strength, posture, and relaxation in a safe, accessible format. All exercises are performed seated or with chair support, making the program appropriate for a wide range of mobility levels.

The focus is not on complicated poses or performance. It’s on functional movement that helps participants feel more comfortable in their bodies and more confident in their daily activities. Through guided movement, breath awareness, and simple coordination exercises, ChairFlow encourages steady progress without strain.

Classes are paced thoughtfully and adapted to individual ability. Movements are pain-free and practical, helping reduce stiffness, improve joint comfort, and maintain functional strength. At the same time, the inclusion of breathwork and mindful attention supports relaxation, focus, and emotional well-being.

Participants often notice improved flexibility, better posture, enhanced circulation, and greater ease with everyday movements. Just as important, the group setting fosters connection, engagement, and a renewed sense of confidence in movement.
